Vegas RecapIt was about 11 in the morning when we got to Vegas after driving through podunk town after podunk town in Nevada all day. There is abosultely NOTHING in that state as far as I saw other then Vegas.
My parents drove me through the traffic in the strip when all I wanted to do was find a hotel, eat and sleep. Despite my foul mood it was a neat place to see even if it was only through a car window. We got out at a gas station near the strip and I went to go in and use the restroom. There ended up not being one and on my way out this creepy hobo looking dude threw a quarter at in my shoe and whistled at me as he passed. I really didn't care to know why. Now skittish after that incident I was probably even afraid of my own shadow.
We eventually made it to a casino to eat and stay for the night. The shower had two tempatures, scalding hot and freezing cold. The lamp didn't work and the sign outside are window made it look like daylight. Not even a drape was provided. To say the least, I didn't get much sleep that night. After breakfast in the morning and coming out smelling like smoke I was glad to be leavng Vegas. Maybe I'll go back one day when I'm actually of legal age and enjoy it.
Since then school's been the usual. Going up to Colorado for Thanksgiving Wednesday to see my great-grandfather.
